“…you must all learn the value of rest and the efficacy of relaxation. You must realize that the best method of solving some entangled problems is to forsake them for a while…. Again, many times your problem is found to have shrunk in size and proportions while you have been resting your mind and body.” [UB Paper 143, Section 3]
Thought Adjuster: “You were pondering the fact that many of you fully surrender the directive of their spiritual life to those they perceive to be worthier ‘religious leaders and trustees’. Sadly, by doing so, they give up on their spiritual freedom, allowing for their born-free spirit to be held captive in a very confining antique cage whose bars are made of unyielding dogmas and obsolete belief systems. They sit there complacently with clipped spiritual wings.
“The courage of the flesh is the lowest form of bravery. Mind bravery is a higher type of human courage, but the highest and supreme is uncompromising loyalty to the enlightened convictions of profound spiritual realities. And such courage constitutes the heroism of the God-knowing man.” [UB Paper 143, Section 1]
Thought Adjuster: “Let us talk some more about the establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven—the Kingdom of the Heart. In the olden days, many nations sent out brave conquerors in remote parts of the globe to expand the reach of their kingdom by colonizing remote countries. As well, the spreading of the Kingdom of the Heart has been and will keep occurring in a similar fashion—initially hidden from those whose vision is turned outward and who have not YET been born of the Spirit.
“….mercy is a quality of growth. You should realize that there is a great reward of personal satisfaction in being first just, next fair, then patient, then kind. And then, on that foundation, if you choose and have it in your heart, you can take the next step and really show mercy; but you cannot exhibit mercy in and of itself. These steps must be traversed; otherwise, there can be no genuine mercy.” [UB Paper 28 Section 6:2]
“One of the most important lessons to be learned during your mortal career is teamwork.” [UB 312:01]
Thought Adjuster: “The thought entered your mind that every single creature of the Father has been conceived to be a ‘public servant.’ You are surrounded with myriads of such examples when you look at the selfless ‘public service’ performed by creatures as tiny as the bees that pollinate the flowers and the trees, and as big as the elephants, the camels or the horses that have served in ages past as ‘public transportation.’
Thought Adjuster: “The thought came to you that the Kingdom of Heaven is indeed the Kingdom of the Heart. Whenever you think of those you wish to surround yourself with, they have one common denominator—the beauty of their heart that by far exceeds their mental power of attraction. What do I mean by that?
Thought Adjuster: “What makes interhuman relationships so tricky? It is the fact that all of you are still in a state of relative ignorance and immaturity and that it is the place from which you attempt to make sense of one another. As you frequently witness, you are more adept at reading the character flaws of those who display similar propensities as yours. However, you are also prone to project unto others some of your own shortcomings, as you may erroneously assume that their actions are guided by similar motivations.
“The love of the Father absolutely individualizes each personality as a unique child of the Universal Father, a child without duplicate in infinity, a will creature irreplaceable in all eternity.” [UB 138:04]
Thought Adjuster: “You are unique, you are loved, you are precious, you are irreplaceable. Those are mighty statements, aren’t they? This is how lovers speak to one another, cherishing the gift of their love and mutually appreciating the original beauty of their personality and its attached qualities.
