“It should not be the aim of kingdom believers literally to imitate the outward life of Jesus in the flesh but rather to share his faith; to trust God as he trusted God and to believe in men as he believed in men.” [UB 196:1:5]
“The new kingdom which my Father is about to set up in the hearts of his earth children is to be an everlasting dominion. There shall be no end of this rule of my Father in the hearts of those who desire to do his divine will.” [UB 140:1:2]
Thought Adjuster: “Before ordaining the twelve apostles, Jesus gave them preliminary instructions to clarify that they grasped what their mission as ambassadors of the divine kingdom was all about. He made it very clear that it was the sovereignty of the heart.
“[R]emember that my kingdom is not to come with noise and glamor, but rather must it come through the great change which my Father will have wrought in your hearts and in the hearts of those who shall be called to join you in the councils of the kingdom…. Be patient, be gentle…. [Y]ou should also be prepared for trouble, for I warn you that it will be only through much tribulation that many will enter the kingdom.” [UB 137:6:5]
“Isolation tends to exhaust the energy charge of the soul” [UB 160:2:8]
Thought Adjuster: “At one time or another, life will present you with decisive turning points advertised with a ‘follow-me’ road sign. Thought Adjuster: “Have you ever tried to retrace the course of your thoughts? You are in for a wild and, at times, entertaining ride. It is quite educational to do so. Some ideas are like shining pebbles purposefully placed on your mental track to nudge you toward an intelligent and enlightening destination. Others seem to randomly pop up in your head, triggered by some external factor that derails your musing.
Thought Adjuster: “In your folk tradition, a bearded, chubby, rosy-cheeked, and jolly Santa Claus—aka Father Christmas—tours your planet on a starry night in a gravitation-exempt sled driven by red-nosed reindeers that effortlessly ferry tons of gifts for home deliveries from an undisclosed North Pole location. They follow a precisely charted route.
Thought Adjuster: “All of you would much benefit from scrutinizing your overall operative mode. On which emotional frequencies do you generally operate? Which prevalent attitude do you have toward life in general and others? Do you behave like a hostile or a friendly witness?
Your experiences may have sculpted your attitude. Bad things do happen to good people. However, they should not turn them into bad ones—thus expanding their tragic impact.
“The political sovereignty of representative mankind government will bring lasting peace on earth, and the spiritual brotherhood of man will forever insure good will among men. And there is no other way whereby peace on earth and good will among men can be realized.” [UB 134:6:13]
