“No matter into what great depths [disheartened souls] may have fallen, when they seek the light with a whole heart, the spirit of the Lord God of heaven will deliver them from their captivity; the evil circumstances of life will spew them out upon the dry land of fresh opportunities for renewed service and wiser living.”  [UB 130:1:2]

Thought Adjuster: “As the saying goes, “As long as there is life, there is hope.” Being the universal Life Force that animates all-that-is, the Father is never quick at writing off His Heart those whose names appear on the ‘naughty list.'

Whenever Jesus petitioned for divine leniency toward others’ tragic misdeeds, He pleaded their state of spiritual ignorance as an extenuating circumstance for their ill-advised behaviors. Those who foolishly follow the prompts of ignorance and are misled by its chronic lack of insights land in the tally of its unfortunate victims while simultaneously inflicting harm unto others.

“This escape from the service of light and life can only result in . . . distressing conflicts [. . .] which lead eventually to darkness and death.”   Such intense inner anguish led Judas to terminate his life, unable to grasp that even though he had hit rock bottom in his self-esteem, he still was salvageable. “And when such disheartened souls sincerely seek for God—hunger for truth and thirst for righteousness—there is nothing that can hold them in further captivity.” [UB 130:1:2]

You frequently witness how the iniquitous behaviors of a few run havoc in the lives of many. However, keep in mind that each soul is redeemable, as long as it can make the free-will decision to turn its life around. The past is the past. No matter how unrighteous a behavior might have been, it can be reformed—and often is, as mistakes are stern disciplinarians.

In His eternal infinity, the Father provides boundless opportunities. Do not be greedy as to the number of chances you give one another. It is in everyone’s best interest to support each other in your admirable efforts for self-improvement. Stop stoning the ghosts of the past! Instead, celebrate the emergence of many reformed sinners. Applaud their remarkable spiritual recovery! It is what forgiveness, compassion, and empathy are all about.”
