Teacher:  “Dear child, whenever you want to establish a mutual connection with Spirit, it is essential to cultivate a peaceful inner demeanor.  Spirit never hurries as It exists independently of the elements of time and space.  Spirit IS and such a state of ‘Being-ness’ is forever ‘peace-full.’

“Whenever a student is unruly, the teacher’s job is to calm the child so that he/she can be receptive to the teachings, rather than being disruptive.  Frequently, human beings turn to the Divine when they are under tremendous stress.  They feel instinctively that it is the ‘super-human’ Authority able to help them master their inner turbulences.  They thus take refuge away from from their life’s storms by entering the Light House and getting a much needed respite.

“There are other times when an awakening soul wishes to be recharged and counseled.  In such cases, it readies itself to be optimally receptive and conditions both its inner and outer spaces—just as you would thoroughly clean up your living room when you are getting ready to host a party for your loved ones.  Such preparations will make them feel welcome; they will sense your love and rejoice about it.

“Indeed, you can have ‘walk-in’ appointments with Spirit in cases of emergency as Spirit always has an open door policy.  Yet, the most productive encounters are the ones of your daily ‘check-ins;’ they keep you connected—rather than being estranged.  Don’t you want to fit in and benefit from this loyal support group?  Such a group consciousness will accompany you throughout your day.  They are within earshot whenever you need some valuable input—moment by moment.  What a tremendous and yet much underutilized resource it is!”
