“Pentecost endowed mortal man with the power to forgive personal injuries, to keep sweet in the midst of the gravest injustice, to remain unmoved in the face of appalling danger, and to challenge the evils of hate and anger by the fearless acts of love and forbearance.” [UB 194:3:12]

Thought Adjuster:  Tomorrow is a spiritual memorial day of great magnitude—the Christian celebration of the momentous day of Pentecost that took place 40 days after Jesus’ infamous crucifixion. Up to that point, Pentecost was the great Jewish festival of baptism, “the time for fellowshipping . . . those gentiles who desired to serve Yahweh.” [UB, 194:1.5] How providential that, on that particular day, humanity at large received an unprecedented and undiscriminating Baptism of Spirit!

All mortal minds of moral status were embraced by the Universal Mother Spirit. “The Adjusters cannot invade the mortal mind until it has been duly prepared by the indwelling ministry of the adjutant mind-spirits and encircuited in the Holy Spirit.” [UB, 108:2.2] It is then that the Spirit of Truth was outpoured to act as the spiritual coordinator of the different Spirit ministries. On this solid spiritual foundation, the Thought Adjusters were able to bestow themselves “en masse” in the human minds, thus completing and enhancing the spiritual outreach of this powerful inner trinity.

Centuries later, it appears that these spiritual superpowers remain seriously overlooked, neglected, or underused. The country [USA]is now aflame with racial hate and anger triggered by the criminal actions of some uncompassionate police officers.

Sadly, instead of taping into the super-power of the spiritual weapons made readily available “to keep sweet in the midst of the gravest injustice” [UB, 194:3.12], this much-regrettable event was interpreted by some as the green light for the uncontrolled angry outburst and acts of theft, vandalism, pyromania, and outright violence that add to the toll of innocent victims.

In the memory of Jesus, the most innocent victim of all, find it within your heart to revive the glorious Spirit of Pentecost. Just as this day became the stage for new opportunities, giving access to ‘unlimited second chances’ through the bestowal of many unearned blessings, become one of the keepers of its flame. Do not allow for its light to be extinguished. Instead, through your focused intentions, please contribute to the second wave of its outpouring upon humankind. May the love and forgiveness surging from your wide-open, forgiving hearts cause saving breaches in the hearts of those who have developed amnesia as to their spiritual nobility. Noblesse oblige!”
