Thought Adjuster: “Jesus consistently selected the humblest way to do great things, fending off the lures of excessive wealth, head-spinning fame, and ostentatious power.  He only allowed the enlightened whispers of Spirit to go to His head and heart.  Jesus favored the Jordan River's flowing waters over royal ointments, thus making them holier than stoup water.

What happens to those anointed from On High? Jesus was instantly ‘filled’ with the activating power of the Holy Spirit.  Together with His honorary diplomatic credentials, He was issued His official marching orders as an Ambassador of the spiritual Kingdom.  He wasted no time after the green light came on, announcing that His hour had finally arrived, to engage in His privately-rehearsed public ministry.

The anointing oils and baptismal waters are just symbolic of what takes place on a spiritual plane. They are not essential to that process of empowerment.  When the very same Holy Spirit outpoured Itself on the apostles in lock-down after Jesus’s tragic death, it occurred without hoopla.  It just happened!  These frightened men immediately emerged from their hiding place and bravely went out in the world at large to broadcast Jesus’ liberating message of salvation by faith—which implied promoting goodwill among men and doing good works.

The very same Holy Spirit is standing by YOU—in readiness to coach you and accompany you in your sacred calling as an ‘anointed one.’  The sincerity of your longings, coupled with the high caliber of your ‘living’ faith, determines the timing of this ‘empowering’ moment, as it is YOUR decision—not something ever imposed upon you.

 There will be a telltale shift in your priorities as you are released from spiritual captivity.  The deadweight of stale dogma and stifling belief systems will be lifted, allowing your soul to soar free in much higher spiritual planes.
