Teacher Uteah: “You asked me to expand on the above statement.  How about this?  There are gold-diggers equipped with gold detectors, and there are those who increasingly ‘dig God’ by using their finely tuned spiritual ‘God-detectors.’ Those who merely search for material gratification ‘miss the spiritual boat.’ 

“God is not in hiding, nor does He play hard-to-get.  You are the one closing your being to His omnipresence, which requires a high level of denial on your part, including the overlooking of your spiritual selfhood.

“To build a close relationship with God, you will have to follow the pull of your innate attraction toward Truth, Beauty, and Goodness, which are the reliable building blocks of such a profound relationship.  By getting in touch with the truth of your being—your authenticity—and by striving to express beauty and goodness in your words, feelings, and actions, you are developing a ‘chemistry’ with God.  It cannot be otherwise.

“Dear ones, those are the leadings of Spirit.  They are the signposts pointing your mind toward truth and your heart toward the beauty and goodness it craves.  Practice this through your day and upon retiring at night, reflect about the quality of your experience.  There will be no denying that these supernal forces of attraction are exerting a positive and uplifting influence in your life.  Isn’t it what true friends do?”
