Thought Adjuster: “The thought came to your mind that there is a great need for all of you to learn what is yours to take personally and what is not.  Indeed, such is the case, as human beings have a great tendency to take everything and anything personally—the good, the bad, and the ugly.

“By so doing, you assert that everything revolves around you and that you are the center of everyone’s universe.  Isn’t it utterly presumptuous?  Such assumptions are the source of great dysfunctionality in your lives and in your world.

“You live on a world of cause and effect and, as you well know, many of the causes that still affect your lives, have been set in motions eons before your appearance on this world.  Why then should you take them personally and perpetually feel offended?

“You see, dear ones, what is yours to take very personally and to gratefully acknowledge are the things of enduring values:  the true, the good, and the beautiful.  Aren’t they what everyone strives to experience to lead a ‘meaningful’ life?  “Truth is coherent, beauty attractive, goodness stabilizing.”  [UB 43:05] You are like little satellite dishes, free to select on which specific broadcast source to focus your attention and your selection determines whether your perception of reality is pleasant or unpleasant—uplifting or depressing.

“Surely, much needs to be remedied to on your world.  Yet, you are constantly the recipients of lovingly customized gifts, those to take very ‘personally’.  Do not allow for other’s behaviors to dictate your emotions, even though they may initially be perceived as hurtful destabilizing factors.  Understand that they are caused by the inner suffering of their perpetrators.  Just like you, they crave for Love.  Remain steadfast in the goodness you exude and you will become a much-needed stabilizing anchor in their life—a gift that THEY will take personally.”
