Thought Adjuster: “Whenever you wish to turn within to commune with Spirit and His Associates, it is advised that you focus on your heartbeat or on the movement of your breath—slowing them down.  Why is it so effective?

“First of all, it is a wonderful way of ‘herding’ any stray thoughts, as it disengages your attention from the busyness of the outside world and zooms in on the mysteries of your inner world.  Indeed, each deep breath you take is a breath of fresh air that flushes out any lingering thoughts from your being.  This process is even more empowered if paired with a visualization.

“As well, by consciously slowing down the functions of your physical body, you invite a wonderful quality of peace into your inner sanctum, as you are temporarily disconnecting from the interaction of your physical senses with the outer world.  This is greatly facilitated when you sit in a quiet place to take this regenerative timeout.  Peace and quiet are the best settings for an encounter with Spirit, as they help amplify Its Still Small Voice.  As well, they are the best contributors to optimal relaxation, which, in turn, increases your inner receptivity.

“Each one of you has to develop a routine of sorts that facilitates accessing the Stillness.  Feel free to investigate different approaches until you find the one that works best for you.  This will become your personal access code to Spirit.”
