Thought Adjuster:Thought Adjuster: “The manipulative dissemination of information perpetrated by highly prejudiced news media under the catchy headlines of Breaking News should be preceded or followed by a disclaimer along the lines:

“View at your own risk. It is a combination of fiction and non-fiction. Names, characters, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any tampering with reality is purely intentional.”

Your top-level priority should be to safeguard your integrity by refusing to circulate unverified or suspicious information, thus condoning it. By legal definition, “an accomplice is a person who becomes equally guilty in the crime of another by knowingly and voluntarily aiding the other to commit the offense. An accomplice is either an accessory or an abettor.”

There are also unsuspecting accomplices: gullible souls who take at face value whatever their favorite news channel broadcasts and pass it on, adding their spin.

Such a tainted chain of custody, far from preserving the integrity of ‘nothing-but-the-truth,’ adds to its contamination. The evolving narrative has very little in common with the facts. It gets increasingly distorted by exaggeration or omission when it leaves out some critical piece of information.

Be your own fact-checker! Hone your God-given discernment skills. Hearsay is not good enough—especially when it has by far surpassed its second-hand initial stage.

Defamation of character is another form of derogative misinformation. Bottom line, any exaggeration, omission, or toning down of the identified facts amount to lies or deception.

Adamantly refuse to partake in the blaming game! Take responsibility for your thoughts, emotions, and actions to prevent the ambient toxicity from oozing into your inner world. Those who pledge allegiance to the truth and nothing but the truth, are at peace with themselves.”
