“The religion of the spirit grows into the increasing joy and liberty of ennobling deeds of loving service and merciful ministration.”  [UB Paper 155, Section 5]

Thought Adjuster: “Let us talk about the Religion of Spirit—the only one promoted by Jesus and, paradoxically, one not affiliated with the many religions of authority.  Indeed, how could there be any joy without liberty?  How free is your spirit?  Those are very important questions to ponder, as they will help you assess where you currently stand in your religious experience:  B.C. or A.D.?  Before your spiritual rebirth or after?

“Indeed, the true followers of Christ are bound to experience a spiritual liberation from the fetters of the strict adherence to intellectual belief systems that are sadly driven by shame, guilt, and fear.  By following the spiritual footprints of Jesus, you will become active participants in the joyful labor of love that He came to initiate to establish the Brotherhood of Man on this world.

“Pick up your bed and walk!” was His admonition to those He blessed with overall healings—not merely physical ones.  “Get up from your couch and take loving actions” could be the modern version of this statement.  Indeed, the world will not and cannot be changed by the complacent ‘couch potatoes attitude’ displayed by those who are mere spectators to the ever-unfolding production of life.  A spectator may form an opinion about the quality of the show he watches.  Yet, only by becoming an active participant, does he get to taste the substance of the actual experience.

“Stagnation and boredom are never conducive to joy.  By following the inner leadings of Spirit, you are stepping up your life experience, as Spirit will never fail to enlighten you and make you feel alive.  This is what a genuine spiritual experience is about:  Love, Light, and Life, and their many uplifting byproducts, such as inner peace, self-worth, and harmony.”
