Thought Adjuster: “Whenever you are under the spell of intense emotions, your physical body immediately registers their ripple effect. There is indeed a complex circulatory system that connects the various layers of your being—spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical. These strata need to be harmonized for you to operate optimally.
“Fortunately, counter-measures can be initiated by your physical body to mitigate and settle your emotional state. Your breathing is a great moderator. Strong emotions trigger shortness of breath, which in turn can lead to heart palpitations, and other uncomfortable physical symptoms that exponentially add up to your state of anxiety.
“Therefore, by proactively addressing the most obvious physical symptoms, you can engage the reverse gear in your emotional process. Empty your mind by placing your entire focus on your breathing. Take conscious deep breathes. They will take you back to a state of mental calmness, and your body will be your friend again.
“Another point I would like to bring to your attention is that to achieve Self-Mastery, you have to acquire Self-Understanding. How else could you master what you do not understand?
“As your Inner Guide, I will help you make sense of your complex and at times conflicted reaction and response patterns. How many times during your short life have you asked yourself “Who am I?” when puzzled by your paradoxes? Those moments when you find yourself in contradiction within yourself are indeed great opportunities for improved self-understanding.
“I will help you in that deciphering process, as I do know your true self. I am continually working within your mind to help you make the right moves so that you can evolve toward the ‘unified you.’ Not only will you get to harmonize the many facets of your being, but by following My leadings, you will also become finely attuned with Me. It cannot be otherwise if your will is to do My Will. Such an attunement will lead to our ‘at-one-ment’ –the glorious moment of our Fusion.”
