“Some men’s lives are too great and noble to descend to the low level of being merely successful.”  [UB 2096:08]

Thought Adjuster:  “Let’s visit the topic of True Happiness.  How would you coin True Happiness?  Is there such a thing as false or fake happiness?

“From your personal experience, you well know that, whenever your desires are being satisfied, you experience a sense of self-gratification that you may mistake for happiness.  At the very least, it may be described as a joyful reaction to what you perceive as being the fulfillment of your dearest longings.

“Yet, whenever this pertains to material gratification, such a sense of contentment is for the most part very short-lived.  Just as a child quickly loses interest in his/her latest toy and starts setting his/her views on another coveted one, many human beings act in similar fashion as to their ‘pursuit’ of happiness.  I am intentionally stressing the word ‘pursuit’ as such a state of happiness will reveal itself to be very elusive and fleeting.

“You will never find everlasting happiness in the sole pursuit of ephemeral material achievements.  Only True Happiness will provide you with a sense of security—the knowingness that such a hard to obtain inner emotional state cannot and will not be taken away from you.

“This is also one of the reasons why life on your evolutionary planet constantly provides you with ‘twists and turns’—with sudden turn of events or reversal of situations.

“For the most part, when experiencing such game changers, many individuals fall subject to depression as they lose the feeling of security from which depended their state of happiness.  The rug is being pulled from under their feet making them lose their inner footing.

“This is the difference between the perspective of an awakened soul and a slumbering one.  An awakened soul is connected on the inner with the enduring values of Truth, Beauty and Goodness—with True Love.  It can remain blissful in the mist of outer tribulations as it has recognized that its greatest asset is safe-kept within its being and that no one can rob it.

“A life well lived is a life focusing on the acquisition of these inner treasures.  Paradoxically, the more vicissitudes such a soul has to deal with in its material body, the more inner strength, fortitude and courage it develops.  Its character and personality greatly benefits from these spiritual ‘door openers.’

“Dear ones, look out for those precious moments when your soul and heart sing in unison and take mental notes of them.  In them resides True Happiness.”
