Thought Adjuster:  “Dear one, today’s topic is Confidentiality.  As you deal with a variety of relationships, there will be situations when confidentiality is required as, whenever a heart opens up to another heart, it makes itself vulnerable.  By divulging personal information to another human repository, you are able to process some of your life’s happenings at various levels. Sometimes you go to a friend for advice, in order to get a better perspective of the situation you feel stuck in.  Sometimes, a friend opens up to you to share with you some of their inner world and struggles.

"All these confidences should be handled with uttermost respect.  They are the expressions of someone’s trust.  It is why it is so vital to handle them with care.  Whoever entrusts you with their personal information does so having the expectation that the information is safe with you and will not be misused. 

“Discernment has to be used when you confide in anyone.  You have to know that they are trust worthy so that the sharing of your confidence can bear good fruit.  Whenever there is a breach of trust, pain ensues at various levels:  the emotional pain of feeling betrayed and the grief caused by such a disappointment.  Whenever there is a breach of trust, there is separation and it takes time to heal such a situation as it created an adverse precedent for the relationship.  It is important that you only create positive precedents in your relationships with others so as to become a trusted sounding board for them. 

“Trust is also a form of emotional energy.  It is letting go of oneself with the firm belief that you will be caught in the safety of outstretched arms.  How painful and disappointing it is when you hit the ground instead, because your trust was not invested wisely or because someone betrayed it.

“Learn to cherish others’ trust so as to become more trustworthy; this is how you can qualify to truly be a divine instrument; the Divine never lets you down and never betrays you as It only has your best interest at heart.  The Divine has only pure intentions and you need to learn to reflect such purity of intention in all your dealings with others as intentions are eventually followed with the corresponding manifestations of reality.  Intend wisely so that only Truth, Beauty and Goodness result from your intentions.”
