Thought Adjuster: “You were just reading that, in order to obtain peace on earth, it is necessary that humanity surrenders to the spiritual sovereignty of the Father in Heaven rather than feeling superior in their personal religion.  Indeed, this is a very important point to ponder.

Whenever you feel ‘superior’ to others, you dissociate yourself from them – from the family of humanity.  This generates spiritual separation and divisiveness, as well as resentment on the part of those you are lording yourself over.  This is the reason why humility is truly a blessing, as it is a safeguard against such potential disunity.

Jesus’s understanding of spiritual matters exceeded far the understanding of His fellowmen.  He asked questions and did His spiritual homework in order to extract their answers from His life’s occurrences.  Rather than acting like a self-appointed guru, He had a very private and anonymous ministry for a great part of His life, being on the outlook for opportunities to make a difference and to lift others out of their spiritual ignorance.  Indeed, this is the value of any type of education. 

Just as it is being said that there is always someone in worst shape than you, there is also always someone better off than you – spiritually speaking.  You are on a progression curve – better than yesterday and not as good as you will be tomorrow.  Share with others what you know and be receptive to their own sharing.  This is how siblings act toward one another.  Be grateful for each contribution that stems from a caring heart, as gratitude will keep your own heart open.”
